San Francisco-check!

Dan's work outfit
On my bucket list, one of the items is to visit the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA.  My family spent a few years living in San Diego when I was little, and we have been back to Southern California many times visiting friends, going to Disneyland and Sea World, visiting my sister who used to live in Huntington Beach etc.  I have even been to northern California to Sacramento and Fresno where we have family.  However, I had never been to San Francisco, until just a few weeks ago.  Dan's company recently celebrated their 20th year in business, and to start out the next 20 years, they had a promotion wanting all the employees to submit a new company logo and slogan.  Out of hundreds of ideas, Dan's idea was chosen by the owners of the company!

The job site for the 49ers stadium

Dan's company right now is working on all the structural steel work for the new San Francisco 49ers football stadium that is being built in San Jose (close to San Francisco).  Because he won the contest, he was rewarded with a trip to the job site and a fun weekend of playing in the Bay Area, and I got to go too!!!  The following are pictures from the job site, and the Topping Out ceremony which is when the last steel beam is put into place for the structure.
See the tiny guys at the top?
They are getting ready to weld in the last beam!
