In early November, Dan and I attended the annual Families Supporting Adoption (FSA) 5K. It was held at Liberty Park downtown where we all gathered under the pavilion. You will notice from the pictures that it was NOT a warm day! It didn't stop snowing the whole time we were there, but it sure was beautiful, since it was the first new snow. We had bagels and hot chocolate and then began what was supposed to be about a 3 mile walk...because of the cold weather, we walked about 1 mile, and then most folks circled around and we stopped and chatted and had more hot chocolate. It was fun to meet a new couple from Tooele that were hoping to adopt, and we met a cute girl who had placed her baby for adoption about 10 years ago. I hope we can go again next year, and that the weather will be more agreeable=)
