Back in June my mom started chemotherapy to treat her breast cancer. We, as a family, knew she wouldn't be feeling much like doing stuff when she was sick and tired from the chemo. So my sister from Texas flew in and we had a fun long weekend together, while mom was feeling good. My mom's hair had started falling out, and she wore this funny little hat thingie, until she got her cute, red wig.
We went and got pedicures at our favorite place and then had lunch at yummy Einstein's bagels. Then we headed over to my Grandpa Bunny's house. He lives in a retired peeps community and it has a really nice pool, and we spent the rest of the afternoon there, soaking and playing.

I am grateful to have such fun sisters and a wonderful mom. Now it's the end of July and almost her birthday. This week both my sisters are flying in, as well as my brother in law and we'll all be together for her birthday and fun times. Well, except my dad, he's going to Africa on a safari and he'll miss all the fun, or something like that, LOL Good times, and good stories =)
